MARK PETERSON is a working musician, songwriter and producer, as well as a professional graphic designer and illustrator.

Residing in LA for more than 15 years, he has been a graphic artist for BAM Magazine, the Los Angeles New Times, the LA Weekly and the Culver City Farmers' Market, and has been a member of several local bands,

appearing on the "LA Blackout" local band compilation CD with the hard rock group devices, and recording a self-produced EP with the garage-soul ensemble Bad Apple Pie.

He has also been an active member of the Dreamworks Records project Forest For The Trees since its inception, playing a variety of instruments (including guitar, bass, drums, trash can and spacephone) and co-writing songs with artist/producer Carl Stephenson on two critically-lauded albums: "Forest For The Trees" and "The Sound of Wet Paint" EP.

Peterson later acted as assistant producer for Stephenson's second full-length album, and collaborated with Stephenson on two additional independent projects: writing and producing a pop theme for Volvo, and producing a song for the Dreamworks film "Shrek", for which Peterson wrote the music and lyrics.

Currently, Peterson is assembling music and sounds for the upcoming chapters of the "Bitter Weather" saga, bit by bit, in his 100% digital home studio.
